This event will run from July 22 until September. Come and hug a draft horse on our farm! This is a special fundraiser to help support the retired, disabled, and homeless draft horses on our farm and bring attention to the special programs we offer. There are significant positive uplifting side effects from hugging a draft horse that you can experience first hand. All ages welcome!

Common Ground Country Fair
September 20 - 22, 2024
Join us and five of our Horses at the 48th annual Common Ground Country Fair that will be held at the Common Ground Education Center in Unity, Maine on September 20, 21 and 22, 2024. The fairgrounds are open Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association’s (MOFGA) annual celebration of rural living features 1000-plus exhibitors and speakers, and emphasizes vibrant communities, sustainable living and local economies, while highlighting organic agriculture.
